Kanban View
Manage workspace status, priority, labels, and groups on a board when running many tasks.
Kanban view turns your workspaces into a board—columns for status, labels for theme, priority when you need to decide what to pick up next, and Groups when you organize by custom clusters.
Why it matters
- See several agent or human tasks at a glance.
- Spot blocked or stale work quickly.
- Coordinate parallel workspaces without a separate PM tool.
- Drag cards instead of hunting through lists.
- Align the board with sidebar grouping modes (status, project, time, label, priority, or group).
What you can track
- Workspace status (Backlog, To Do, In Progress, In Review, Blocked, Completed, Canceled, and related columns).
- Priority when multiple tasks compete.
- Labels for area, repo, or agent type.
- Group membership when the board is set to group mode — drag cards between group columns to reassign.
Get started
- Open Kanban from Atmos (sidebar or
⌘⇧Kfor the expanded board). - Place each workspace in the right column for status, or switch grouping for project / time / label / priority / group views.
- Add labels or priority where helpful.
- Open a card to jump into that workspace.
- Use filters (status, priority, labels, project) and sort (last visit, create time, priority) when the board is dense.
Tips
- Answer one question with the board: “What should I work on next?”
- Do not over-tag—lightweight columns beat perfect taxonomy.
- Import GitHub issues as Issue Only cards when you want board tracking before a real workspace exists.
- For named project/workspace clusters, create Groups in the sidebar first, then use By Group on the board. See Multi-Workspace Development.
