Disk Analyzer
Scan Atmos-related disk usage, drill into large folders, and clean up safely.
Disk Analyzer lives in the Management Center. It scans disk usage so you can see what is taking space under Atmos-related paths, drill into large folders, and remove files you no longer need.
By default the scan stays Atmos-scoped (~/.atmos, managed projects, and the Atmos app when applicable). You can opt in to Scan all space when you need a broader map of the machine.
Why it matters
- Find large workspaces, runtimes, caches, and build outputs before the disk fills up.
- Prefer Atmos-scoped scans for day-to-day cleanup without a full-system walk.
- Drill with list and chart views (treemap / sunburst), then clean with trash or permanent delete.
Open Disk Analyzer
- Open the Management Center in the left sidebar, or use Global Search for Disk Analyzer.
- Open Disk Analyzer.
- Wait for the default Atmos-scoped scan, or start a rescan.
- Click folders in the list or chart to drill in. Breadcrumbs show the current path.
- Select an item to inspect size and cleanup hints, then Move to trash… when it is safe to remove.
Turn on Scan all space only when you intentionally want a broader scan. Disk Analyzer is not a full professional system cleaner; for deep system-wide cleanup, use a dedicated disk tool on your OS.

Tips
- Prefer trash over permanent delete unless you are sure.
- Path totals can exceed volume used when files share storage through clones or links; free space shown for the volume is the authoritative remaining capacity.
- After archiving old workspaces, rescan to confirm Purge Script and manual cleanup actually freed space.
- Pair with Project & Workspace Manager archive and purge flows so unused worktrees do not pile up.
