Agent Status Tracking
See whether agents are running, idle, waiting, or done.
Agent status tracking shows what your agents are doing across Atmos. When you run several tasks at once, the status indicators help you find the session that needs attention.
Why it matters
- See which agent is running or blocked on approval.
- Know when a session went idle or finished.
- Coordinate multiple agents without guessing state.
- Trigger notifications only on meaningful transitions.
States you will see
- Running — agent is executing tools or commands.
- Idle — connected but waiting for input.
- Waiting for permission — needs your approval to continue.
- Done — task finished or stopped.
Where You Will See It
Atmos shows agent status in places where it helps you make a decision: workspace chrome, footer status, Kanban, and related task views.
Tips
- When status sticks on “waiting,” check the terminal or chat for the approval prompt.
- Combine tracking with notifications if you step away during long runs.
